In a significant diplomatic development, Turkey's Minister of National Defense, Yaşar Gül, conducted productive discussions with Nechirvan Barzani, the Head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
The meeting, marked by a two-way exchange, addressed a spectrum of shared interests between the two leaders, SIA reports with reference to Turkish media.
A statement released by the Ministry of National Defense emphasized the significance of the encounter, stating, "Minister of National Defense Yaşar Gül engaged in substantive bilateral talks with Nechirvan Barzani, the esteemed Head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government, who arrived in Antalya to participate in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum."
The discussions are anticipated to foster strengthened cooperation and deepen understanding between Turkey and the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.
