Chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov has announced the number of observers registered for the snap parliamentary elections, SİA reports.
According to him, so far, a total of 112,749 local observers have been registered.
Note that for the snap parliamentary elections, 1,508 candidates were nominated. Of these, 1,462 candidates were approved, with 1,420 receiving signature sheets and 1,195 returning them.
The deadline for submitting the necessary election documents to the district election commission was August 2 at 18:00.
The snap parliamentary elections are scheduled for September 1.
