"The constructing works within State Border Service continues in a growing pace" , chief of State Border Service of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant-General Elchin Guliyev stresses in his interview to journalists.
SBS’s chairman said about the continuation of infrastructure, military base and border checkpoints development works. Overall, the construction of 80-90 facilities will be finished in a short time. The opening ceremony of several objects is planned in September and October.
He also mentioned the recent incident in Iranian-Azerbaijani border in his speech; "Thanks to modern equipment we were able to detect violation of state border in advance and take necessary actions."
