Sister of President of Tajikistan dies of coronavirus

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon's sister Kurbonbi Rahmonova died on July 20 at age 64, SİA reports citing AKI Press.

The cause of death was not named officially.

A doctor on condition of anonymity told RFE/RL Rahmonova died of COVID-19. He said the woman had confirmed coronavirus infection and health workers struggled for her life for 10 days.
