Georgia has reported 490 new coronavirus cases and 219 recoveries in one day, SİA informs, citing the Georgian government's designated official website.
The new infections bring the country's total COVID-19 tally to 279,936, while recoveries are reaching 271,804.
Meanwhile, the deadly pathogen has claimed eight lives in one day, taking the country's COVID-19 death toll to 3,746 since the pandemic onset.
