Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva participated in the municipal elections.
According to SİA, Human Rights Commissioner of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva voted at polling station No. 13 of the 23rd Nasimi-Sabail electoral district. After exercising her voting right, she also monitored the voting process.
The voting will continue until 19:00.
Municipal elections are being held in 118 electoral districts with 5,846 polling stations open. 16,092 candidates are participating in the elections, competing for 8,071 seats in 685 municipalities.
According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), 5,961,987 voters have the right to vote in the elections.
