Chocolate is one of the foods which most of us cannot refuse. But this tasty treat, according to the studies, has both benefits and harms to the human body.

Chocolate is very rich in vitamins E and B, iron, magnesium, calcium. Experts report that eating a small amount of dark chocolate every day can reduce the risk of blood clots and sudden heart attacks. It also has a positive effect on the mental health of women in particular. Other health benefits include: reducing the risk of cerebral hemorrhage, reducing stress, increase in happiness (the endorphin hormone), as well as balancing the amount of sugar in the blood.

Despite this, eating chocolate can also be harmful for people suffering from diabetes and heart disease. When taken excessively, it can cause tooth decay, excess weight, and the appearance of acne on the face.
