Using antibiotic in the treatment of monkeypox virues can deteriorate the desease and aggravetd, if the second bacterial infection is connected, antibiotics can be used with doctor’s recommendation, Zakir Guliyev, specialist expert of the Ministry of Health said during the live show, SİA reports.
According to him, the monkeypox is illness of virus originated. However, antibiotics are of bacterial originated. Therefore, antibiotic is not recommended in the treatment of monkeypox. Antibiotic, in the contrary,can have a bad effect on the treatment process of monkeypox.
Diagnosis of monkeypox is taking the analysis of PSR through a smear from the wound site, rashes.
