President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on on approving of the Cooperation Agreement in the areas of electronic communication, information security and electronic governance between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The decree reads:
Governed by Clause 17 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby resolve as follows:
1. To approve the Cooperation Agreement in the areas of electronic communication, information security and electronic governance between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria signed in Sofia on 4 March 2015.
2. To task the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan with executing the provisions of the Agreement mentioned in Clause 1 of the present Decree.
3. To task the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan with informing the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria of the execution of necessary state procedures for the enactment of the said Agreement.
