"NATO is concerned about the existing tension between Armenia and Azerbaijan on the Line of Contact for the past few days." SIA reports that NATO Liaison officer to the Caucasus Mr. William Lahue said this in his statement to journalists,
"NATO supports Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and a peaceful solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He noted that the existence of tension in the conflict is dangerous for not only Azerbaijan and Armenia, but stability in the entire region, and that both sides need to make every effort to relieve the tension." said William Lahue.
