Press officer of NATO Press and Media Section says James Appathurai did not say that Georgia could play a mediating role between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"Mr. James Appathurai did not say that Georgia could play a mediating role between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This is a process managed by the co-Chairs of the Minsk Group. We continue to support their efforts.
He did emphasize that Georgia can continue to play an important role in promoting regional cooperation in its region, as it has done in the past.
Concerning reforms of the judiciary in Georgia, Mr. James Appathurai stressed that Allies have over the past years consistently called on the need to implement reforms, in line with the recommendations of relevant international organizations", press officer of NATO Press and Media Section has said.
