Next round of negotiations on EU-Azerbaijan associative agreement to be held in June

The next round of negotiations on associative agreement between the EU and Azerbaijan will be held in Brussels in June, Head of EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Roland Kobia told journalists.

According to him, the sides have already approved 15 points of 28: "Three points are being coordinated now. The points on education, youth, transport, tourism, maritime and fishery, economic dialogue, taxation and environment have already been approved. Currently the negotiations are being continued on law, health and mining."

The negotiations on associative agreement between the EU and Azerbaijan have been held since 2010. The report on the progress of Azerbaijan in the framework of the European Neighborhood Policy, published on May 15, says that in comparison with other countries the negotiations with Azerbaijan are going slower.
