Turkish and Azerbaijani anthems played in rally held in Takism on 20th anniversary of Khojaly genocide
A rally on 20th anniversary of genocide committed by Armenians in Azerbaijan’s Khojaly city started in Taksim square of Istanbul.
The rally participants keep the placards with writings and chanted "Karabakh is ours and will be ours!", "We are all Azerbaijanis, we are all Turks!", "World, hear the scream of Khojaly", "The right to live is saint!", "One nation, two countries, Justice for Khojaly!", "We condemn Khojaly genocide!", "Khojaly is un our soul, we are all from Khojaly!", "Stop Armenian lie!", "No friend of a Turk except a Turk himself!", "Who will apologize for these", "Recognize the genocides against Turks", "Either Karabakh or death, there is no other way" slogans.
Governor of Istanbul Hüseyin Avni Mutlu and Istanbul Police Chief Huseyin Capkin also came to the square.
Azerbaijani and Turkish MPs, media representatives, Turkish NGOs, representatives of trade unions, political parties, Azerbaijanis living in Turkey and abroad are participating in the rally.
