The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan paid AZN 104 million 277 thousand to the State Budget for August of the current year. For January-August 2010, SOCAR transferred AZN 707 million 176 thousand to the State Budget that is AZN 112 million 471 thousand or 118.9% more against payments for the same period of 2009. Besides, the Company’s payment to the State Social Protection Fund made AZN 12 million 73 thousand in July 2010 that is AZN 3 million 114 thousand (134,8%) more compared to the same period of 2009. In general, the January-August payments to State Social Protection Fund totaled AZN 85 million 186 thousand that is AZN 14 million 832 thousand (121,1%) more against the payments for the same term in 2009.
