"SOCAR plays an important role in the oil and gas policy of the world." President of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic Rovnag Abdullayev told this at the opening ceremony of the second SOCAR Oil and Gas Processing and Petrochemical Complex Forum which today has kicked off in Baku, SIA reports.
SOCAR President also noted that the initiators of Oil and Gas Processing and Petrochemical project start the second – Design-Procurement-Construction stage: "This forum will create condition for both local and international companies to introduce their experience on technologies for Oil and Gas Processing and Petrochemical sphere".
Recall that the forum will focus on discussion of topics on "DPC stages of large oil and gas processing and petrochemical projects", "technological achievements on gas and chemical industry and market tendencies", "main equipments, materials and services on oil and gas sphere", "Oil and Gas Processing and Petrochemical projects", "Agreement, logistics, land, ecological and other aspects in realization of large-scale projects" and "experience of local contractors in large-scale projects".
