Prime Minister of United Arab Emirates sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid al Maktum met Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev in Dubai.
The minister arrived in Dubai within the Azerbaijani delegation for the purpose of attending the session of the intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, UAE Economy Minister Sheikh Sultan Said al Mansuri and deputy chief of the city of Dubai Sheikh Muhammad were informed about the agenda of the commission and steps that will be taken to expand the directions of economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.
In turn, Minister of economy of UAE, Al-Mansuri noted that the annual trade between the two states has reached $300m while the Azerbaijani investments in UAE are estimated at $200m. He noted that today 120 Azerbaijani companies work in different economic sectors of the Emirates.
