The Public television channel announces five winning performers to represent the country at Eurovision Song Contest 2011
The Public television channel of Azerbaijan has announced five winning performers from their semi-finals to represent the country at Eurovision Song Contest 2011. The SMS-voting gave as a result the following lucky names: Ilhama Gasimova, Ilqara Ibrahimova Aynishan Guliyeva, Eldar Gasımov and Nigar Jamal.
The five young singers got through a series of castings and semi-finals to reach the final. They now aim to represent Azerbaijan at the first semi-final of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest.
