A painting exhibition called "Egypt in the eyes of Azerbaijani children" was opened in the French Institute of Azerbaijan on April 20th. The exhibition taking place within the Francofonia weeks was organized by the Embassy of France in Azerbaijan and the institute. Having participated in the ceremony ambassador of France to Azerbaijan Aurelia Bouchez and the head of the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Relations Center Ahmed Sami Elaydi spoke of the importance of the exhibition. Emphasizing the forthcoming contribution of this kind of exhibitions to the development of cultural relations between two countries, diplomats thanked all the participants. It was stressed that more than 10 artworks displayed at the exhibition reflected the history of Egypt. Noting the significance of the event within the Francofonia weeks speakers mentioned the сontinuation of the project in the future as it is held every year. It was said that the official closing ceremony of Francofonia weeks will be held on April 22th. Afterwards the guests got acquainted with the exhibition lasting for a week.
