Idina, who was the voice of Elsa in the Oscar-nominated Disney film, says her ice queen character might be returning to the big screen.
This isn’t a confirmation of Frozen’s return, but Menzel suggested it’s on the way in a recent interview with The Telegraph.
When asked about what she could say about rumours of a stage musical and a sequel, she responded: ‘That they’re all in the works.’
She added that she’s not sure if she’ll be involved in the stage show, but hopes to be back for Frozen 2.
It’s already been announced that Frozen will be making a return of sorts in the form of a short called Frozen Fever.
Frozen was hugely popular when it was released last year with the song Let It Go, sung by Idina, sparking a series of spoofs and cover versions.
Film: Frozen (2013).
It was nominated for best film at the 2014 Oscars which saw John Travolta refer to Idina as ‘Adele Dazeem’ in a hilarious on-air gaffe.
Frozen won oscars for best animated film and best original song for Let It Go.
