Farid Mammadov, who represents Azerbaijan, has a competitive sporting spirit, and he has been showing the same spirit in his preparations for his appearance in Europe's Favourite TV Show, and that includes undertaking many interviews with the media, including of course with Eurovision.tv.
On Monday 13th May, along with the United Kingdom's Bonnie Tyler, he had a photocall opportunity with the press at the Stortorget square in the centre of Malmó, the officla website for Eurovision reports.
Afterwards we took the opportunity to talk to Farid about the elaborate staging of the Azerbaijani entry Hold Me, and how long it had taken him to practice the routine and about his rehearsals had gone prior to his appearance in the Second Semi-Final.
The second semi-final of the Eurovision-2013 song contest will be held in Malmö, Sweden today.
SIA reports that the representatives of the 17 countries, including Azerbaijan will perform in the second-semi final. 10 finalist countries will be selected via jury voting and televoting. The second semi-final will kick off at 00:00 Baku time.
