Mugam classes for pupils of secondary schools have been launched at the International Mugam Centre.
The lessons are planned to run twice a month. During the classes, Azerbaijani prominent musicians will teach details and nuances of the mugam art to underage children, AzerTAj reports.
The first day of the program involved pupils of Baku school No.3. They received the first lesson from prominent mugam master Alim Gasimov.
The classes at the International Mugam Centre will continue until 2014.
