Chinese authorities are ready to help "strengthen international consensus" on grain exports from Ukraine.
The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Zhao Lijian, said in a statement, SIA refers to foreign media.
"We are ready to actively contribute to ensuring global food security," said the diplomat, calling on the parties to the conflict in Ukraine to exercise restraint and prevent tensions.
Interestingly, Zhao Lijian did not reveal what other assistance China is willing to provide in grain exports.
On October 29, Moscow announced the termination of its participation in the food agreement after the drone attack on the ships of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. Russia considers that the strikes were carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine as the reason for this.
In the meantime, although Germany has urged Russia to return to the agreement, the UN and Turkey continue to export grain together with Ukraine.
