Poland recognizes Russia as a "terrorist regime"

The Polish Senate unanimously adopted a resolution recognizing Russia as a terrorist regime. The corresponding document was developed by a group of senators, SIA refers to the press service of the Senate on Wednesday, October 26.

“The Senate unanimously adopted a resolution recognizing the authorities of the Russian Federation as a terrorist regime,” the press service said.

The document condemns Russian aggression against Ukraine. In particular, it states that Ukraine today is a country that defends democracy and freedom. At the same time, the Russian Federation resorts to terrorist methods, bombarding civilian objects: kindergartens, schools, theaters and residential areas.

The Polish Senate notes that the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin and his entourage “returned to the cruel practices of the Stalinist and Nazi regimes.”

The Polish parliamentarians urged for other countries to take similar steps towards Russia.

The Senate of the Republic of Poland once again strongly condemns Russian aggression and calls on all countries that stand for peace, democracy and human rights to recognize the government of the Russian Federation as a terrorist regime.
