Kremlin says there are positive developments concerning grain deal’s future

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in his statement in Moscow that the negotiations on the extension of the Black Sea grain deal, which will end on November 19, are ongoing, SIA refers to Russian media.

Stating that experts are working on the topic, Dmitry Peskov said: "As you know, we are mainly talking about agreements on the elimination of restrictions on the export of Russian products. Constructive meetings are being held with the United Nations."

Emphasizing that they are waiting for a solution to the negotiations, including restrictions on Russian products, he continued:

"There are positive developments towards the extension of the grain deal, but it is necessary to ensure the full implementation of the previous agreements."

The Spokesman also addressed the missile attack on the village of Prjevodov on the border of Poland with Ukraine on November 15, and the loss of 2 lives.

"We have witnessed yet another anti-Russian reaction that is not based on any real information. In fact, the representatives of different countries made statements without clearly understanding what was happening," said the Spokesman.

Peskov noted that Russia did not encounter a similar reaction to the provocation against the Nord Stream pipelines: "At that time, there was no such reaction, and no one was in a hurry to find out who caused the provocation."

Dmitry Peskov said that Russia positively evaluated the restrained approach of the United States of America regarding the events.

"I would like to draw attention to the restrained response of the United States, which contrasts with the completely hysterical response of Poland and other countries," the Spokesman added.
