US tech giant Meta has removed accounts run by the office of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on Instagram and Facebook as part of its policy to not allow users that “proclaim a violent or hateful mission or are engaged in violence”, SİA reports citing Iran Wire.
Khamenei’s office maintains accounts on social media platforms Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, all of which are blocked by the Islamic Republic.
