Former UFC champion Conor McGregor will reprise his role in an updated version of the 1989 American action film Road House. Actors Jake Gyllenhaal, Bill Magnussen and Daniela Melchior will also star in the film, SIA cites "Championat".
American director Doug Lyman, known for his films "The Bourne Identity", "Mr and Mrs. Smith" and "Edge of Tomorrow", will direct the film.
The film follows a former UFC fighter (Jake Gyllenhaal) who takes a job as a bouncer at a rough-and-tumble roadhouse in Florida, but soon discovers that not everything is what it seems in this tropical paradise. It is also reported that McGregor will not play the main role, but will act as an original character and not as himself in the project.
