"Azerbaijan concerns about Russia’s handing over of its military bases to Armenia", said the first vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ziyafat Asgarov. "I have met with relevant structures of Azerbaijan for several times and raised this issue. They also declared that this issue was being investigated. Official reaction will be clear only after the investigations", said Z.Asgarov.
Deputy Sabir Rustamkhanli proposed the discussion of the issue at the Azerbaijani Parliament’s session today. He mentioned that nobody can guarantee that Russian armed forces will never be settled in the occupied Nagorno Karabakh region: "Because the servicemen in the above mentioned bases will be Armenians themselves. We must appeal to the UN and demand the organization to give its reaction on the issue.
