Farmer Don Jaquish planted four miles of sunflowers along a road in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, in memory of wife Babbette. A husband grieving for his late wife has paid tribute to her in the most extraordinary way.
She had suffered from cancer for six years and during that time she set up Babbette’s Seeds of Hope, raising funds for cancer research and patient care.
So when she died he promised to plant the four-mile stretch of the flowers to give hope to other people fighting cancer and now the plants have flowered.
