A confused and stressed moose was seen running around in the parking lot outside the shopping mall dome. Suddenly, the elk jumped over a high railing , fell to the ground and then died of his injuries.
It was just before three o'clock on Wednesday afternoon as a moose calf was seen running on the upper parking lot at the dome shopping malls. The elk was according to an eyewitness very stressed and instead of continuing down a concrete staircase down to Ica Quantum , jumped the moose over the railing and fell about eight meters to his death.
"I was about to park my car when I saw the moose come jogging from the University. I saw how it disappeared between two posts and thought it ran down the stairs", said an eyewitness to the event.
The moose landed on the ground and was able to crawl for a few yards before it was stopped on the car road . Police were called to the scene and they had to re-route traffic, before killing the elk owing to extensive injuries.
