Imam of the shut-down Abu Bakr mosque Gamat Suleymanov and his adherents have made a statement regarding Alikhan Musayev and Mubariz Garayev both of whom are known to be supporting battles that are going on among radical groups in Syria.
The statement, which was signed on behalf of the graduates of Islamic University of Madina, says Alikhan Musayev and Mubariz Garayev opposed Salafi Manhaj by having ties with the people of Takfeer, encouraging the young toward Takfeer, and backing the people of Takfeer.
"We abandon Alikhan Musayev and Mubariz Garayev for telling a great deal of lies, evading from commenting on the issues they were asked about until they overtly state their Manhaj.
"Alikhan Musayev’s recent activities are much closer to those of Khavarij. From his deeds, it can be clearly noticed that unlike us, he supports those heading to Syria for fight and holds an opposing view against us," said Gamat Suleymanov.
Alikhan Musayev is reported to be in close touch with Mujahideen who are fighting against al-Assad regime and be strongly supporting ongoing battles in Syria.
