The Fourth Azerbaijan-Germany Medical Days were held in Siegen city of Germany on4-8 September.
According to Gamca.az Azerbaijani ambassador to Germany Parviz Shahbazov, Azerbaijani MPs Jeyhun Osmanli, Ganira Pashayeva and member of German Bundestag and Deputy Chairman of Germany-Azerbaijan Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group Ms. Daub participated in the event which was also attended by about 50 doctors.
Siegen Mayor Stefan Muess hosted an official reception in honor of the event participants. In his address to the event, Ambassador Shahbazov talked about cooperation and friendship between Azerbaijan and Germany and presented an Azerbaijani carpet depicting the emblem of Siegen on it to the city mayor.
As part of the event, Azerbaijani doctors participated in surgical operations along with their German counterparts, got familiar with work schedule and principles of the German hospital and conducted an exchange of experience with the German doctors. Master classes and training were held for the Azerbaijani doctors with the support of German firms.
