Azerbaijani universities can be freed from VAT.
The statement came from Education Minister Misir Mardanov.He said the parliament of Azerbaijan has discussed this issue.
"If the universities are freed from VAT, this will raise their capacities", the minister said.
"Whether this innovation will cover private universities will become clear during the preparation of the bill", the minister said.
