"For expertise of education
documents, the documents of 58,970 from 150,000 teachers working in the
country were investigated in Azerbaijan", Education Minister Misir
Merdanov said at today’s board meeting.
"Especially, the documents, which remained since 1990, were investigated. The investigation revealed 455 people, working with false diploma, all of them were dismissed", said the minister.
Merdanov also added that according to investigations, 260 people operated under the diplomas of unlicensed institutions, 468 – illegal universities, 11- by certificates of private educational establishments, 54 – by certificates of different courses.
The minister noted that these works would be continued and all facts related to recruitment of persons with false diplomas would be investigated till the end, appropriate measures would be taken.
