Azerbaijan doesn’t intend to increase the number of universities, said Minister of Education Misir Mardanov, SIA reports.

Minister said there were 36 public and 15 private higher educational institutions in the country. "Currently about 10 000 Azerbaijani students get education abroad and more than 7000 foreigners are studying in the Azerbaijani universities".
