Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has stated that a significant part of the population doesn't have a clear understanding of the country's territory, SİA informs via Armenian media.
"The territory of 29,743 square kilometers is unfamiliar to many. The true Armenia is the Republic of Armenia with its internationally recognized territory and borders. This may seem like a simple statement, but in recent years I have been surprised to discover that this figure is unfamiliar to many of us: 29,743 square kilometers are unknown to most," the prime minister noted during the second discussion within the "Real Armenia" project.
"A question arises: why are we unfamiliar with this figure if it concerns the internationally recognized territory of our state? In certain situations, criticism was voiced: why do I recognize the territorial integrity of this or that country? What is the motivation? I want to note that the most important motivation was first and foremost the recognition of the territorial integrity of our own country," he added.
