Georgia is ready to resume relations and strategic partnership with the US, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze said at a briefing, SİA informs.
"We are very interested in resuming relations and, moreover, we have stated that we want to restart our strategic partnership with the US from scratch. Furthermore, we want to do this with a specific roadmap," he said.
He noted that this could be a roadmap similar to the association agenda.
"Approximately with the same roadmap that was developed for EU-Georgia relations, for example, the association agenda. We are ready to resume our strategic partnership with the US with a specific guide, specific indicators, and specific goals. We are glad that we share common values with the new presidential administration. Much will depend on whether the Trump administration can fully defeat the Deep State in the United States. Overall, we are optimistic and, I repeat, fully ready to resume Georgian-American relations," Kobakhidze stated.
