Turkish FM Hakan Fidan to visit United States on official trip

Turkey's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, is set to embark on an official visit to the United States on March 7-8 upon the invitation of U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, SIA reports with reference to foreign media.

According to diplomatic sources, during Hakan Fidan's visit, the 7th Turkey-U.S. Strategic Mechanism Meeting will take place, where representatives from both sides will engage in comprehensive discussions on a wide range of bilateral cooperation areas, involving relevant institutions.

The discussions within the framework of this visit will cover multifaceted collaboration, and the parties will engage in bilateral talks on crucial global and regional events.

Hakan Fidan's itinerary in Washington includes meetings with members of the U.S. Senate and an anticipated discussion with Jake Sullivan, the National Security Advisor to U.S. President Joe Biden.

Additionally, Hakan Fidan will participate in events organized by think tanks as part of the visit's schedule.
