Russia's advanced "Armata" tank not deployed in Ukraine due to high cost, says Rostec Director

In a recent statement, Sergey Chemezov, the CEO of the state corporation "Rostec," declared that Russia's latest "Armata" tank surpasses all existing analogs worldwide.

However, he emphasized that the Russian military cannot deploy this advanced equipment in Ukrainian territory due to its high cost, SIA reports with reference to Russian media.

Chemezov, evaluating the situation on the battlefield in military operations zones, highlighted that Russian soldiers can effectively utilize the more budget-friendly T-90 tank in combat and achieve all necessary results.

According to Chemezov, while the "Armata" is in service with the Russian Armed Forces, it will not be utilized in specific operations due to its cost.

Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz explained his refusal to provide Ukraine with "Taurus" long-range missiles.
