“Tens of thousands of people died in an ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. A great human catastrophe is going on here,” Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM) Numan Kurtulmush said at the 14th Plenary Session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly held in Baku, APA reports.
“This, at the same time, is the war of Russia with the West as a whole. If this problem is not resolved in time, it is obvious that it will turn into a global war,” he added.
Numan Kurtulmush stated that the latest processes happening in Gaza are the cause of serious concern from the regional point of view: “That is why there is e need for such cooperation for the sake of peace. If all these problems are not resolved, I’m afraid, the upcoming period will cause a greater shaking in the world.”
