The US has called China "the only country trying to change the international order, according to the new ambitious national cybersecurity strategy released by the White House on Thursday, SIA reports.
The strategy calls out China, Russia, Iran, North Korea and “other autocratic states with revisionist intent,” accusing them of “aggressively using advanced cyber capabilities” to pursue objectives that run counter to U.S. interests and international norms.
According to Washington, the Chinese state poses the “broadest, most active and most persistent threat to both government and private sector networks.”
According to the document, it is also claimed that China has strengthened its operations in cyberspace over the past decade.
The United States also extends intellectual property theft to China, stating that Beijing is trying to become Washington's foremost strategic rival.
The US also says that China uses the Internet as a basis for monitoring the situation and capabilities in its sphere of influence.
Based on these, Washington expresses confidence that Beijing will export its vision of digital authoritarianism by trying to shape the global internet in its own vision.
