French MPs opposing pension reform threatened by hoaxers

Hundreds of thousands of people in France have taken to the streets and workers have gone on strike throughout the country to put pressure on the National Assembly deputies.

Discussions of the draft law on pension reform, which raised the country, began in tense and noisy conditions, SIA refers to local media.

During the tense discussions in the French National Assembly, the left-wing deputies said that the pension reform project is extremely unfair, and categorically rejected raising the retirement age to 64.

The deputies were repeatedly called to follow the rules, and threats were made to stop the session. Public Accounts Minister Gabriel Attal has targeted the leftists and the National Unity (RN) party by supporting the government's pension reform project.

Hoaxers told Le Pen MPs their child was in hospital to dent pensions vote. At least four French MPs have received fake messages saying "one of their relatives is in the hospital" and that is why they did not participate in the discussions. Le Pen said that such acts are aimed at preventing the participation of MPs who are against the pension project in the discussions.

In general, those who support the government in France are mainly members of the right-wing party, which is very small. But right-wingers have two choices: support the government or vote against the reform, forcing the Prime Minister to invoke Article 49-3 of the Constitution.

It seems that the fate of the pension reform will depend not on the general opinion, but on the few right-wing MPs who are in the no position.
