The drawing ceremony of the 29th national handball championship was held.
SIA reports that on October 20, the drawing ceremony of the 29th national championship was held in the Azerbaijan Handball Federation.
Officials of the federation and head coaches of the teams took part in the event. Firstly, the director of the competition, Iskander Askerov, spoke and said that the 2022-2023 republican championship will be held in "AHF Arena" from November 12 to April 30. He noted that the race will consist of four rounds in a circular manner.
Information was also given on the championship regulations, the latest changes in the rules, the game schedule and other issues. The names of the teams that will participate in the competitions have been announced. In total, 7 male (Baku, Education, Product, Sports Academy, Dynamo, RIOEUGIM, U-16) and 5 female (Azeryol, Karabakh, Sports Academy, Azersu, U-16) teams will perform.
After the lottery of the competitions, the questions of the participants were answered.
