Dr. Khumar Novruzova specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of internal medicine conditions, including respiratory diseases, bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), digestive system disorders, anaemia, and rheumatological diseases.
During examinations, particular attention is paid not only to establishing the primary diagnosis but also to identifying secondary causes of arterial hypertension and accurately differentiating between diseases with similar clinical presentations. For respiratory conditions, spirometry and bronchodilator testing are used to assess lung function. Based on the results, an individualized treatment approach is selected according to each patient's condition and needs.

In 1996, Dr. Khumar Novruzova graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine at Azerbaijan Medical University. From 1996 to 1997, she completed her internship in Internal Medicine at City Clinical Hospital No. 6.
In 1997, Dr. Novruzova began her professional career at the Republican Clinical Hospital named after Academician Mirgasimov, where she worked until 2020. The experience she gained during these years played an important role in developing her professional knowledge and clinical skills in the diagnosis and treatment of internal medicine conditions.
Since 2020, Dr. Khumar Novruzova has been working as an internist in the Outpatient Department of the Central Customs Hospital.
Continuous Professional Development and Advancing Medical Knowledge
In an era of rapid medical advancement, the continuous updating of a physician's professional knowledge is particularly important. By participating in international medical events and professional development programmes, Dr. Khumar Novruzova continues to expand her professional experience and enhance her knowledge across various medical disciplines.
In 2011, Dr. Novruzova participated in the 28th Turkish Gastroenterology Week, held in Antalya, Türkiye. In 2018, she attended the International Congress of Internal Medicine in Sakarya, Türkiye, followed by another International Congress of Internal Medicine in Antalya in 2019.
In 2022, Dr. Novruzova completed a practical training course at the Department of Pulmonary Diseases of Cebeci Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Ankara University, Türkiye. The course focused on diagnostic examinations performed using the JAEGER MasterScreen Body system. This training contributed to the enhancement of her knowledge and practical skills in pulmonology and the assessment of pulmonary function.
