On September 19, the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan (NOC) had a meeting with the delegation of Uzbekistan. SIA informs that the Vice President of NOC Chingiz Huseynzade met with the delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Sports Development of Uzbekistan Murad Ismayilov.
The members of the delegation, represented by the managers of the Presidential Administration, the Accounting Chamber and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, were interested in the activities of the NOC.
Ismayilov said that they are studying the experience of neighboring countries regarding the development of sports based on the instructions of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The vice-president of NOC Ch. Huseynzade informed the guests about financial sources, scholarships and social benefits for athletes. He spoke about the international programs and projects implemented by NOC in 30 years and their results.
The delegation of Uzbekistan presented a special gift to the vice-president of NOC. A commemorative photo was taken at the end of the meeting, which was attended by Azer Aliyev, the general secretary of the NOC, Hasanaga Rzayev, the head of the sports department, and Anar Bagirov, the head of the international relations department.
