On September 6, the fifth meeting with representatives of national federations of Olympic sports was held. The representatives of the sports federations that represented our country in the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games also took part in the meeting. At the meeting held at the Baku Youth Center, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov welcomed the federation representatives and experts, spoke about the recent work done and the upcoming tasks, and informed about the purpose of the meeting.
According to the agenda of the meeting, "Report of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games", "Analytical analysis of the results obtained by the federations at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games", "The licensing process of athletes (as well as coaches, referees, etc.)", "Media", "Paris-2024 Summer Olympics" Business plan for games license competitions" and other issues were discussed.
At the event, Farid Gayibov presented the appropriate certificates and badges to the sportsmen who were awarded the title of "Master of Sports" by the decision of the Ministry's Board.
Presentations of Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Public Union and Sports Fans and Volunteers Public Union were also viewed at the meeting.
