Azerbaijani parataekwondo athletes Sabir Zeynalov won a silver medal at the Grand Prix held in Paris, the capital of France.
The 58 kg athlete lost only in the finals and settled for the second place, the National Paralympic Committee told SIA.
Other members of the national team Imameddin Khalilov (70 kg) and Abulfaz Abuzarli (80 kg) finished the tournament with bronze medals.
The athletes who won the Grand Prix added additional rating points to their assets and increased their chances of getting a license for the Summer Paralympic Games to be held in Paris in 2024.
