A meeting was held with the young athletes who successfully performed in the European inter-club taekwondo championship in Tallinn, Estonia. SIA reports that the head of the department Ragif Abbasov, head of the mass-physical education sector Samir Salehov, two-time European champion in taekwondo, head and head coach of Umid Sports Club Ilkin Shahbazov participated in the meeting organized at the Baku City Youth and Sports Directorate (BSHGIB).
Ragif Abbasov appreciated the results of our young athletes and wished them success in future competitions.
Students of the "Umid" taekwondo club sent by the Baku City Youth and Sports Department - Sabir Mammadli (27 kg) was awarded gold medal, Joshgun Mammadzade (33 kg) silver medal, Rasim Garayev (27 kg) and Kanan Balayev (30 kg) won bronze medals.
At the end, a commemorative photo was taken with the young athletes and gifts were presented to them.
