Formula 1 will no longer be held in Russia

The leadership of the Formula 1 World Championship is not going to hold races in Russia, Executive Director of Formula 1 Stefano Domenicali said, according to the Sky Sport TV channel, SİA informs referring to TASS.

"I always say: never say never. But in this case, I can promise: we will no longer negotiate with the leadership of the Russian Grand Prix. There will be no more races," Domenicali added.

In connection with the situation in Ukraine, the leadership of Formula 1 terminated the contract for the Russian Grand Prix. Since 2014, the stage has been held in Sochi, from 2023 it was supposed to be hosted by a circuit in the Leningrad Region.

The contract for the Russian Grand Prix was supposed to be in force until 2025.
