A meeting was held at the Ministry of Youth and Sports regarding preparations for the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games.
At the meeting organized with the participation of the representatives of the sports federations that will represent Azerbaijan, Minister Farid Gayibov reminded that there is little time left for the competitions and said that the country will be represented by a large delegation, the Ministry told SIA.
He noted that the state has resolved all important issues for the participation of athletes in Islamic Solidarity Games. According to the Minister, the main purpose of the meeting is to discuss questions that may arise together.
Deputy Minister Mariana Vasileva and the head of the delegation Elnur Mammadov informed the members about the organizational issues, as well as the travel, accommodation and participation of the teams in the competitions. Azerbaijan will be the country represented by the largest delegation at the Games.
Information was given about the delegation's uniform, medical care, accommodation, transportation, nutrition and other important issues, as well as the questions of the representatives of the federation were answered at the meeting. The media coverage of the Islamic Solidarity Games was also discussed.
