The U-17 World Wrestling Championship continues in Rome, the capital of Italy.
On the second day of the competition, Greco-Roman wrestlers who performed in 45, 51, 60, 71 and 92 kg category joined the fight, SIA cites the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation. The meetings will start at 13:30 Baku time.
Huseyn Savadov (45 kg) will face Turkey's Omar Altash in the first round. Vadat Gasimli (51 kg) will face the winner of the match between Rafail Papageorgiu (Greece) and Armen Gevorgyan (Armenia).
Mohammad Gasimzadeh (60 kg) will face Egyptian Omar Murad in the qualifying round.
Davud Mammadov (71 kg) will wrestle with the winner of the match between Amirshah Vahobov (Uzbekistan) and Maksim Radik (Ukraine) in the 1/8 finals.
Mikayil Ismayilov (92 kg) will face Georgian Gor Ayvazyan in the 1/8 finals.
The championships will run until July 31.
